I designed for the backpacker, climber, runner, and traveler for this iconic outdoor industry brand. Styles were designed with end-use in mind, form following function, using the highest quality materials and technologies. I enjoyed gaining design insights from our athletes while climbing in Yosemite, ice climbing in Ouray, and summiting the Grand Teton alongside them. This inspired design solutions for low chafe when hiking, sun protection, moisture management, and durability. Some of the low profile solves can be seen below with a fully bonded hike shirt featuring proprietary wicking technology in the collar stand and perforation for ventilation. In addition to designing apparel, I also managed a team of graphic designers, briefing t-shirt designs and approving the print techniques and quality. Additionally, I designed full yarn dye offerings for men and women.
